The Shape of Wanting is a lyrical documentary in which the artist’s inner world surfaces through a fluid meeting of staged and documentary photography.

Rooted in collaboration and attentive to the persistent absence of FLINTA* representation, the series leans on the medium’s ability to not just show desire but call it forth—desire for beauty, meaning, closeness, fluidity, fracture, love, and loss.

Wanting becomes a shape the images trace into being.
